Trafficked in America?

“Beautiful, they really are beautiful, and I never imagined my first time coming to America would make me feel so….different…” Selena was just the youngest of five of her sisters from a distant location called Cambodia and all girls were ready for a new place and a new adventure, they just didnt realize the new would come with a price…

“Hurry Bella’, we do not want to be late for our first trip to America!” Isabella, the oldest daughter dressed in a purple long gown with an abaya draped over her soft, delicate, but abrupt face. The eldest was known for being in charge of the siblings, but for some reason Mia, the middle sister was taking reigns into her own hands on this trip.

“Bah, Mia, we will be fine. And when did you become boss over me, sister dear? You do know I am older than you right?” Bella glanced over her middle-aged sister and oldest sister, both were a replica of her sister instead of purple abaya, with long gown, she chose a red abaya from their closet to wear with her mid-length gown, and a royal blue abaya covering Bella’s face with a tendril of a curl hidden under her headwear.

“Now, now, ladies, can’t we just all get along…?” Selena the youngest, even though her age was younger, seemed to be the more wiser one out of the sisters. She always tried to take care of her sisters, the way their mother would when she was alive..

Just then a ring came upon the oldest phone that congured the other four’s attention. For Mia knew who the caller was and were awaiting his call.

“John, is that you? I have been eager to hear from you! My sisters are in agreement and we are packing and getting ready for your arrival!” Mia spoke eagerly into the phone to the male’s voice on the other line, not caring that her other sister’s are overhearing their conversation.

“Yes my sweet, Mama Mia.” John spoke lovingly into the receiver back to his girlfriend, but winking during the phone call as if making sure someone else saw him. The nickname came from the movie, Mama Mia of the character of main character after the song, John told Mia she looked like the girl from the show and it just stuck with her.

“You will be there to pick us up from the airport, right John my dear? I do not know know how much I can wait to finally see you my love! After all this time!”

“Ohhhh kissy kissy kissy, sis? Hahahaha!” All the sisters aside from Mia chanted as John and Mia spoke lovingly on the phone together, exchanging heart felts to one another.

“Will you four be quiet or I will make you to stay home!” Mia started to say, before John could muster out his request to the girls.

“Wait, dear, I have a surprise for your sisters as well. My four, very single, and handsome friends will be there when you arrive, so I would hate for them to miss out on this opportunity for them to meet their first American men. And since I know them, I can vouch for them.” John said sweetly, not trying to sound his usual conniving self and hopes that she would accept his request and keep it a secret.

“Listen, Selena, Cyndel, Isabella, I am sorry girls, this will be a trip that not only I will never forget, but we will never forget.”
